Everyone should leave home at some point in their lives. Embark on a journey somewhere distant and new. I did for the first time 7 years ago. And have lived the adventure of my life ever since. It hasn't always been easy. I struggled with the language. And certain cultural norms. Felt lonely and homesick for weeks on end. Missed my family and friends back home. Had my heart shattered to pieces by a woman I loved. And fell short of my goals and aspirations. But no story is complete without its hardship. I also improved my Spanish dramatically. Made friends with people from around the world. Traveled to Europe's most beautiful cities. And Spain's most charming corners. I began to understand what type of man I wanted to become. And just how to get there, with goals big and small. I also met the woman of my dreams. With whom I have fallen deeply in love. Because I moved to Spain... I am more grateful than ever before. More capable than ever before. More fulfilled than ever before. And although this experience has been the adventure of my life. It has only just begun.
