In our @UCLpress book ‘What Photographs Do’ @DiviaPatel1 describes how ‘within the @V_and_A Asian Department sits an archive of some 60,000 photographs, mostly nineteenth century images of South Asian architecture and landscape, and a smaller number of the people of the region’🧵
