The U.S government is now taking equity stakes in quantum computing companies. $2 billion in grants. $1 billion to IBM. $375 million to GlobalFoundries. $100 million each to D-Wave, Rigetti and others. This is no longer just AI. Quantum may be the next strategic arms race.
