Scotland Scotland Scotland ! ⚽️🏴⚽️

Last night, 17 year-old Rydnn McGuire became the first-ever goalkeeper to win the Rangers Academy Player of the Year award.🤯🧤 McGuire has played 25 games this season for Rangers U19s, including appearances in the Challenge Cup against senior teams. He has also been part of the first-team squad on multiple matchdays.✅ He’s saved 10 penalties and kept 7 clean sheets this season.🧼 The young goalkeeper has also been representing Scotland at U19 level.🏴 It’s no surprise that several Premier League clubs are showing serious interest in signing him - definitely one to keep an eye on.👀👏

Boston’s World Cup host committee has announced it will be providing a bus service to and from Gillette Stadium during the World Cup — for which they will charge passengers $95 per seat. Earlier this month, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) confirmed it intended to quadruple its usual prices for a round-trip train ticket from the center of Boston to Gillette Stadium during the 2026 World Cup. This hiked a return rail ticket from $20 for NFL games involving the New England Patriots, up to $80 for the 27-mile journey during the World Cup. Now, Boston’s host committee has rolled out a bus service to take fans to the stadium in Foxboro, for an even higher price of $95. As with the train service, there will be no concessionary prices for children, adults over 60 or for passengers with accessibility needs. 📝 @AdamCrafton_ 🔗 nyti.ms/4mwdouz

The '530 page book of lies' also known as the '2026 World Cup Bid Document' stated that America would prioritise public transport over private vehicle use. Calling a stadium "Boston stadium" but the stadium is actually a totally inaccessible 25 miles away is like Scotland hosting a tournament at the "Glasgow Stadium" - when the game's actually at Rugby Park in Kilmarnock. To then quadruple the price of trains - which can only take 20,000 people - and charge $175 for a car parking space is an absolute abomination. There are only 5,000 car parking spots. Even if every car has 3 people in it, that still leaves nearly 30,000 fans attempting to get to the game by bus? This is going to be fucking carnage. Folk paying $1,000 for a ticket and missing the game is an absolute certainty. Tickets which by the way the 2026 bid book stated would range from $21-$323. At Euro 2028 there will be fans that get match tickets to ALL THREE of Scotland's group games, their train travel to every game, food and drink at all 3 games - and still have a good bit of change from the $175 car parking charge in "Boston".

NEW: MBTA confirm $80 return ticket Boston to Gillette Stadium during World Cup, after @TheAthleticFC first reported it would be over $75. Quadruple the usual price for NFL games. No concessions for kids, over-60s or passengers with accessibility needs nytimes.com/athletic/71501…
