One of my long-term PhD students just got notification of her accepted thesis. This talented women has navigated two kids with health issues, her own health stuff, a FIFO partner and FT job (by the end) and a very complex challenging topic. She's a superstar.

Yesterday @hayleyboxall1 & I provided a submission to Queensland Gov in response to the Making Queensland Safer Bill 2024. We raise significant concerns about the proposed introduction of ‘adult crime, adult time’ provisions including removal of detention as a last resort & mandatory sentencing for children in conflict with the law.
