Today I learned that Deutsche Bahn has Wi-Fi routers in each wagon with the same SSID, so once you connect, your device auto-connects on other trains too. Each train gets internet via mobile networks, although the speed can drop to around 180 Kbps in villages and open fields.

Today I learned about Apache Guacamole - a browser-based interface to connect to Linux or Windows servers with GUI remotely. Check the video on the start page - it's a must! guacamole.apache.org

The tech stack of most startups: - Frontend: React (because everyone uses React) - Backend: Whatever the CTO knew from his last job - Database: Postgres (or Mongo if someone watched a YouTube tutorial) - Auth: Copied from a blog post - Payments: Stripe (obviously) - Deployment: "It works on my machine" - Documentation: LOL - Tests: "We'll add those later" Valued at $10 million.

@lemire Most of the projects I am working with have been started by hand when AI coding didn't exist. But recently they are being upgraded using AI.
