Since the start of the year, I’ve grown more interested in global politics, mainly because of my interest in the global economy. Arise TV’s Morning Show and Rotus’ Global Business Update have played a big role in that too. I guess a good part of this interest also comes from the little knowledge I’ve picked up from this space. From the beginning, I expected @DecibelTrade to be king of speed among onchain DEXs. But seeing the execution live on mainnet still exceeded my expectations. The Aptos blockchain currently runs with sub-40ms block times, and that’s the infrastructure Decibel is executing on. Anyone who has traded before knows how frustrating execution delays can be. You spot a perfect entry, click confirm, and by the time the order goes through, price has already moved. Your entry becomes worse, slippage increases, and sometimes the opportunity disappears entirely. That kind of delay can quickly turn a good trade into a bad one. But on Decibel Orders execute almost instantly, blink and you’ll miss it kind of speed. Here are a few key areas where that speed really stands out: Market Order Execution Market orders go through with virtually no noticeable delay, and positions update immediately after confirmation. For active traders, especially during volatile market movements, this responsiveness makes a real difference when entering positions. Limit Order Performance Limit orders also appear in the orderbook quickly and fill smoothly once price levels are reached. For traders watching pairs like $BTC, this level of responsiveness helps ensure entries happen close to the intended price. As the platform continues to evolve, adding more tools, deeper liquidity, and advanced trading features, the foundation for a high-performance on-chain trading engine is already in place.
