Prime example of what I was talking about in ZZZ. I watched Rhinne grind this 25k cause he refused to not use Anton. Even I didn't believe until I saw him reach 20k on his own and now, after figuring out the fight himself he crossed that goal. This is the cheapest cost team I've seen. lol For context: Rhinne isn't a ZZZ player. Hasn't played since Yuzuha and only pulls what he likes, same as a lot of you. Because of that, he learnt this team in/out. He picked up on things, pushed himself for 17hrs on the same fight, JUST because he wanted to use Anton. He didn't have to any of that. All I did was watch and give him tips to speed up his rotations into stun, teach him how to clear Miasma in like 4s after seeing his own routes, and suggestions for unloading DMG here or there. So you're telling me that someone who isn't a regular player and only just picked up the game as a F2P this summer, can conquer this with Anton but most of us who are year 1 players can't? I refuse to believe it. I make content for players who want help finding answers and to improve themselves when they meet a wall in the game. I don't make content to look for excuses. I already acknowledged some issues in my previous post. I'm not gonna sit in the corner crossing my arms and pouting in a group, like some of you want me to do. That doesn't help anyone.

Update on my opinions about the new Shiyu Defense in #ZenlessZoneZero I Spent the last 10ish hours testing; * Everything I stated last night & * Every complaint/issue I read Below will be a handful of screenshots of the teams I tested these with today. All of them are 3 cost or below. Here are my new thoughts. I still believe this is the current best end game in ZZZ to teach players how to approach end game, and I also acknowledge some of the issues you guys pointed out. I'm gonna shorthand my reasons but feel free to ask questions. * Disc locking? Not an actual issue in the grand scheme of things. We couldn't swap disc in between floors before. * Needing S-Rank per floor for max rewards? Not a big issue but still a relatable issue for players that care. While I don't agree w/ changing the scoring (because then it'd be just like Deadly Assault), I do think the pts necessary for rewards should be lowered to 60k. * 3 teams required? Personal problem, and the easiest to fix. * Time? This works in your favor more than you think. * Score MV? This is the actual issue but specifically the 4th - 3rd minute. * Forced Frontloaded DMG? I'm 50/50 on this. I don't think it's inherently a problem but I do see how it can be a problem for players who don't have good matchups taking advantage of that. Why I'm indifferent about it is because the complaint suggests that every team should/can play the same but we know that's not true. At the same time, everyone doesn't have every option. Combine that w/ the Gear locking and now players are even more limited. I get it. ---------- After testing almost every viable team option, I've learned that it's not just front loaded DMG that's important. Some teams I was able to mid-load (if that's a word) my DMG and make up the difference purely because burning my resources didn't get me out of the 1st minute anyway. So I readjusted. Majority of teams also had a completely different game plan for me to score. Hugo only scored ~18k the first time because I burnt my resources clearing mobs, then had nothing for Manato. I changed my approach (similar to OG Shiyu) and focused on group stunning the mobs. I was able to enter Jester round w/ 15-25s left of the first minute. Playing smart vs "dumb" gave me a massive difference. Burning Seed & Billy's resources for my front loaded DMG gave me a fast score, but left me against the tanky robo mobs past the 1st minute. Playing around Pulchra instead, saving my bursts, and using quick EX skills instead of full missile barrages helped me clear with over 10-15s left. I was able to immediately unload my saved ULTs on Jester and jump my score from 10k - 16k. Literally cruised the next minute into stun, then fought normally until 25k. ----------- I'm not saying this new Shiyu is perfect but I believe it's a good step in the right direction. Some changes should be made to better the new mode. The one change that would fix 99.9% of the mode is still that 2nd minute. The MV drops at a ridiculous rate and that's not necessary. Going from 4.2 -> 1.x is stupid. If it at least stayed at 2.x or 1.5 up until the 2:00 mark, that would help players top off the 25k needed and move on. - Why do I say that? Because I tested it. The funny part is that most of you could hit 25k naturally within 5min but because the MV is stuck at 1 for OVER 2 minutes, it basically turns into a Deadly Assault 65k rush. That's not good for the player and helps them learn nothing (cause the reward incentive is gone). I'll finish my full thoughts in a complete video some time this weekend. I'm also preparing a Shiyu Defense guide to help you guys feel more comfortable approaching this end game. They might be the same video depending on the yap. I understand that there are issues you guys are facing so keep speaking up. Just know that I'm not really here to validate you (their your own feelings) but I am doing what I can to help you guys beat it anyway. Even if you hate the new mode, it's not going anywhere any time soon. Better to learn how to handle it more comfortably instead of giving up.
