I strongly disagree with Wright here, but this conversation brings up a larger point that needs dealt with.
Are believers equipped with the biblical/historical knowledge to address this in a biblical & anthropological way?
Or, will it cause people to walk away from the faith?

In college I remember hearing about how N.T. Wright was such a brilliant theologian.
Either they lied at the time, or this man fell off big time.
Either way, this is not Christian theology.

The King James Bible is 100% accurate. I don’t need an easy reading perversion Bible to understand the word of God.
The same Holy Ghost that inspired holy men of God to write the Bible is the same Holy Ghost who lives inside me and is my Teacher.
The King James Bible is the most accurate English translation because it was translated from the Textus Receptus, Latin for "Received Text."
The King James Bible is perfect, inspired, infallible, inerrant, and preserved word of God for English-speaking people.
The NIV, NKJV, ESV, NASB, MSG, CSB, and others were translated from a corrupt text.

I utilize multiple different translations when studying. I've recently added the NET to my group because they have notes on why they chose certain words over others and they have solid commentary.

@PastorHamilton8 They did solid work with what little they had to work with. You can't call modern translations perversions when they are not using 10 manuscripts they are using 10s of thousands of Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic to translate. Some are definitely worse than others but come on.
