We are living in a historic period in which the markets are moving in a truly senseless and completely crazy way. Technical analysis, volumes, logic... often seem to go their own way, as if the market had decided to ignore everything. And that's the beauty of it. After almost 20 years in the business, witnessing such an anomalous, unpredictable and unconventional phase is something I was missing. Is it stressful? Yes. Is it confusing? Absolutely. But it is also wonderful to experience such a historic moment, because this is where you really understand who can adapt and who cannot, and learn even more about what the market has to offer. Lovely

Altcoins, to date, remain completely useless and irrelevant to the real world. Outside our 'bubble', no one uses them: no real adoption, often forced utility, narratives that change every cycle and promises that sound good... but in reality change nothing. So beware of fairy tales like 'this coin will revolutionise X' or 'it will be used for Y': in most cases, it's just marketing to sell you hope and liquidity. You can have a narrative and therefore it's worth taking the risk, but it's simply for speculation! The reality is simpler and more stark: altcoins, as we treat them, are instruments of speculation. Period. And there's nothing wrong with that, as long as you're honest: you buy them because you think someone else will buy them higher, you trade them because they offer volatility, you only hold them as long as the market allows you to. If you want to survive over time, this is the right mindset: don't marry any coin, don't believe the narratives, just follow price action, liquidity and timing.

$NEAR Here we are in full compression: the price has been accumulating for weeks within the same area. When an asset moves like this, slowly, contracted, with no apparent direction, it means that it is building energy. And when the accumulation ends, the breakout is never 'moderate'... it usually explodes. The point is that, as long as it remains within this range, my risk/return ratio does not make sense. Entering now would mean forcing and anticipating, and that is not what I want. I prefer to wait for a clean breakout of the area: if the price breaks out strongly, then I will have a clear structure to follow and a much more favourable R/R.
