📢 Big news! The Data Insights Agent is now live in preview on AppSource — as part of the CentralQ Chat app for #MsDyn365BC. Imagine asking: “Who are my top 5 customers by revenue in Q1?” “Show me the sales trend for item ‘X’ over the past year.” ...and getting answers instantly — with charts, summaries, and full transparency on how it was calculated. 🤯 👇

I was preparing for a workshop about AI in Business Central and decided to build a timeline web page. …iness-central-ai-timeline.centralq.ai From the first ML forecasts in Dynamics NAV 2017, through the Copilot wave, to today's autonomous agents — the timeline covers every major AI milestone, including official Microsoft features and community contributions. Fully open source — suggestions welcome 🙌 github.com/DmitryKatson/b… Built with React + Vite + TypeScript + Tailwind CSS v4 — and yes, mostly vibe-coded with Claude (except the knowledge 😄 ) What milestone would you add? #BusinessCentral #MicrosoftDynamics365 #Copilot #AIAgents #ALDev #ERP #OpenSource #VibeCoding

🔥 Should you share how you work with AI — or keep the advantage to yourself? I've been asked this a lot lately. And honestly, I asked myself the same question. So I wrote about it. Not a tech blog this time. Sorry :) Just thoughts. What 20 years of community taught me. katson.com/spread-the-fir… #AgenticCoding #AI

Perplexity Computer just one-shot my favorite game I used to play with my Dad. He came up with it at Moscow Physics University in the 80s and it's been our family favorite ever since. Submarines is a spin on battleships, but there are only 5 submarines (1 square ships), and each time you shoot you see how many enemy subs are in the line of sight so you can triangulate. Hard difficulty uses Monte-Carlo sim to stay competitive. Give it a try it now: perplexity.ai/computer/a/sub…

I never understood parents limiting screen time in general. It’s important to understand what exactly the kid is doing on their screen. If it’s YouTube or Roblox - the screen time is super small for us. For Claude code or Roblox Studio - it’s much bigger. For Perplexity, Kindle, Audible, and Wikipedia it’s unlimited.
liemandt@jliemandt

@helenrey Parents who choose our schools have decided that they prefer their child to spend 2 hours on screen time to receive accelerated academics, freeing up afternoons for running around and doing team-based projects rather than sitting in class for 6 hours.

Yes I read the something big is happening article. My question is what do AI bros expect people to DO? “AI is coming for your job. It already took mine as a X” So the audience should do…what? Save money? Hopefully people are doing that in general. If you’re going the doom route and want to be seen as a leader, have a ROADMAP for what you want people to DO.

Tbh i don’t get the hype. The is no any new technology under the hood. Yes, probably the biggest AI public experiment, but it’s just LLM generating text based on other LLM text based on other LLM text etc. As LLM was trained on reddit data as well, this portal could be viewed as a mirror of us. Imho

Ooooof friends: here is a strange new thing going down in the AI-verse. Moltbook from OpenClaw (formerly known as ClawdBot aka MoltBot) Moltbook is a Reddit-like social media site where bots communicate with each other. If you’re building AI Agents, please look into the permissions you give it about communicating with other Agents! simonwillison.net/2026/Jan/30/mo…

Finding the right workshop topic for BC TechDays is always a challenge. For the previous years I taught about how to build AI. This year will be different — I want to show how to build WITH AI. Just submitted a brand-new workshop: “Agentic Coding for AL” — based on my 2+ years of agentic development experiments (and a lot of lessons learned 😄). I really hope it will be accepted — I have so much to share. If you also want to share your experience, submit a session or workshop for BC TechDays — the best tech conference for #msdyn365bc. The community needs to learn from you! sessionize.com/bctechdays2026 #BCTechDays #BusinessCentral #AL #AI #AgenticCoding #Workshop

So happy to see AgentCon coming to Thailand 🇹🇭🤖 I’ve been based here for the last 6 years, and it feels extra special to have this kind of developer-focused AI Agents conference happening “at home”. ✅ I’ve just submitted my session on Sessionize — and the Call for Speakers is open! If you’re building AI agents, agentic workflows, autonomous systems, or developer tools and want to share your experience, please submit a session 👇 globalai.community/chapters/bangk… And if you just want to come, learn the latest, get inspired, and meet great people in the community — register and join us in Bangkok 🙌 📅 Saturday, 21 February 2026 📍 K+ Building, Bangkok Thanks Henk Boelman for support! #talks #ai #conferences #agentcon #aiagents #developers #bangkok #thailand

🚨[New Blog] Connect Any Agent to Business Central Want to connect Cursor, Claude, VS Code or other AI agents to Business Central, but you're on a Mac? 🤔 👇 At the end of last year Microsoft introduced BC MCP to connect agents to Business Central. But the current version works only with Copilot Studio agents. There is also an MCP proxy that allows you to connect other agents like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc., released by Microsoft at the end of the previous year, but it works only on Windows. I'm using Mac, and not only me. So I did what any developer would do — I built a cross-platform Python version. 🐍 Now you can connect any agent to Business Central on Mac, Windows, or Linux. One command to install and configure. 👇 Check out the full story and setup guide: katson.com/connect-any-ag… #msdyn365bc #BusinessCentral #MCP #AI #Agents #Python

@demiliani @antigravity Also one of the “hacks” for getting AL vsix. Open vscode with AL extensions installed > export them to vsix > open your favorite other IDE (Cursor, Antigravity) > Import from Vsix

🚀 Sydney, I’m coming! On 26 November, I’ll run a full-day, hands-on workshop at the Microsoft office: Copilot Development for Business Central — and the next day, 27 November, I’ll be speaking at @DirectionsEMEA "ANZ BC Day 2025" about Multi-Agent Systems in Business Central. Business Central is entering a new era — the agent era. But before you can build autonomous agents, you must master the foundations: reliable copilots, strong prompts, robust function calling, and smart knowledge retrieval. This workshop gives you exactly that. You’ll build six real copilots step-by-step — not theory, but fully working features you can bring back to your customers and products the very next morning. Here’s what we’ll cover: 🔹 Building solid PromptDialog pages 🔹 Practical prompt engineering 🔹 Function calling (turning prompts into real BC actions) 🔹 Embeddings & semantic search 🔹 6 copilots built from scratch And for the last hour — NEW content I’m really excited about: ✨ MCP, Vibe Coding & the Agentic Framework How these upcoming capabilities will take you from copilots → to agents → to real automation inside Business Central. 📍 Microsoft Office, North Sydney ⏰ 26 Nov · 9:00–17:00 🎟 AUD 995 👉 Register: katson.com/sydney-26-nov-… Sydney, see you soon 🇦🇺 Let’s build the next generation of Business Central together.
