Here's my conversation with Volodymyr Zelenskyy (@ZelenskyyUa). It was an intense and heartfelt conversation, my goal for which was to do my small part in pushing for peace. We spoke in a mix of 3 languages: English, Ukrainian, and Russian. It's fully dubbed in each of those 3 languages. The original (mixed-language version) is available as well. So the options are: - Audio: English, Ukrainian, Russian, Original (Mixed) - Subtitles: English, Ukrainian, Russian It's available here on X and everywhere else. On X, I'm uploading the Full English overdub version. The other versions will be available on YouTube (see comment thread). You could structure a bank (or a fractional reserve stablecoin) so that when liquidity runs low it costs a fee to withdraw. Fee increases as liquidity reduces, and that fee gets paid to incoming people as an incentive. Could even guarantee a max fee based on reserve requirements

Privacy cryptocurrencies should be designed assuming that the user is actively working against them. Most users are naive and don't understand what safety precautions are prudent. A good privacy cryptocurrency doesn't care. The wallet will automatically provide good security.

Full disclosure: Binance never shorted FTT. We still have a bag of as we stopped selling FTT after SBF called me. Very expensive call.

The learning curve for web3 is too high, because the requisite knowledge is too far from the mainstream Overton window. Web3 cannot succeed until greater proliferation of semi-decentralized ideas makes it further.

1/3 a lot of anger at @AaveAave for censoring their front-end since i see people refusing to understand the obvious, here it is: let them censor. let them be compliant. let them continue to operate in the open, in a way that the govs can't say they've done anything wrong.

3/3 this way DeFi can work unabated--dev teams don't need to uproot their entire existence to keep shipping code, and no one is excluded from access complain when the BACK-END is censored. not the front-end. stop being a dummy. leverage this loophole.

2/3 it is OUR job to make sure there are alternative back ups to access the back-ends. that's something that's easy to do, requires little coordination, and doesn't need cooperation from Aave. e.g. @SkynetLabs did work on this with Homescreen blog.sia.tech/1inch-integrat…
