India’s export performance continues to demonstrate strength and consistency. Total exports of merchandise and services reached USD 714.73 billion during Apr–Jan FY 2025–26, marking steady growth despite global uncertainties. Supported by a dynamic policy framework, digital trade infrastructure, and targeted initiatives like RoDTEP and the Export Promotion Mission, India is strengthening its global trade footprint. India is strengthening district-level export competitiveness through the Districts as Export Hubs initiative. With institutional mechanisms established across all 36 States and UTs and 590 District Export Action Plans prepared, districts are being enabled to participate actively in global trade. Identification of products such as ceramics, bananas, pharma, rice, iron craft and bamboo is helping connect local strengths with international markets. India will actively participate in the 14th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization (MC14) in Yaoundé, Cameroon from 26–29 March 2026.
