So I found this game not knowing anything about the horror genre in any form and got hooked so fast that I still have next to 0 experience with franchise killers and survivors outside of dbd but I fell in love with this game and all the people I got to meet playing it

Did some 1v4 matches today and literally had 3 matches back-to-back where killers dc’d.
On both killer & surv, you WILL NOT learn how to get better if you quit all the time! Do anyone even want to be skillful at this game anymore or is it just me?

@ICEOlation_ttv I mean it was the 1 and only time I got frustrated enough to dc in my 1.7k hours. It was a rough day overall both in and out of game and I saw myself getting overly frustrated so with my self awareness I said that match wasn't for me and moved on to the next one.

@ICEOlation_ttv I mean i was a baby bubba on Hawkins vs a full stack swf there was too much of a gap for me to learn really anything without frustration getting in the way. Can't learn anything if you get too frustrated at least thats how it works for me

@DoGoodhvz_ You can always take every match as a learning lesson & improve what to do better next time. This is not to say 1 cant get frustrated. But even in that match, you learned what triggered you so hopefully youre going to work on it.

@BeardedCollectr @DeadbyDaylight Well twins is also a killer where if you don't slug in any meta you are probably doing something wrong lol. But all of those slugging counters ive used in solo q without issues before. Protecting your hook is easier against solo q also since they cant coordinate the pulls

@DoGoodhvz_ @DeadbyDaylight In a swf yeah that's a possibility but what if everyone is solo queue? Slugging is not that hard even in the games current state. There's a twins build people have been running where the whole purpose is to slug all 4 then hook everyone.

@SixCrits Yeah it wont be impossible to learn him but still its gonna be harder to learn him while I know a few blight mains who literally said they wont feel that change at all.

@DoGoodhvz_ Imo it’s going to force more decision making and learning when and how to break pallets depending on surv positioning. It’ll create a learning curve but I’m not against that. If you put the time in you’ll be rewarded 🤝

I know doomer rage bait is the meta on dbdtwt but I don’t see really any issues with today’s patch. Blight nerf, map weighting being reverted, fast track nerf, all good stuff. The only bummer is releasing a lot of killer tweaks on a 2v8 patch because queues are gonna be IMPOSSIBLE
