@hamisosman2002 @footballontnt Where did I say they won it their exact year they broke records. I’m stating a fact that unlike Fernandez, all three I named helped their team with the League. So you now produce your own stats do you? Hilarious !!! Here’s the OFFICIAL Prem stats: 🤗🥹🫨

@SkySportsPL If he loved Liverpool so much he wouldn’t be leaving. So cut the tears.

And farewell to Pep Guardiola, whose impact in purely coaching terms — never mind all those trophies and record-breaking seasons for Manchester City — has been transformational for English football.
Those who would suggest that impact has been negative should consider that:
a) the Guardiola-inspired move towards highly possession-based football brought more goals than we have seen in English football for decades
b) this season’s shift to more direct, set-piece-oriented football in the Premier League, which has brought a sharp drop in the number of goals scored — particularly from open play — has been a counter-movement against “Pep-ball” rather than a manifestation of it
c) “What about Jack Grealish?” is a fairly standard response to praise of Guardiola’s coaching abilities. Personal view, which predated his move to #MCFC: Grealish was and is far better suited (mentally as well as technically) to a being the star player in a good team than a bit-part player in a great team. To those who would suggest Guardiola “stifles creativity”, I’m pretty sure Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Robert, Robben, Thiago, De Bruyne, Silva, Bernardo Silva, Foden, Cherki etc etc would say the opposite
(For what it’s worth, I’ve found the #MCFC teams of the last two or three seasons far less entertaining as well as less successful. Maybe even he found himself trying to overcome “Pep-ball” in the end …)

@BlueCityBrain And having to champion #130 too, impressive hey
English

Peps so insane if you see below there is 6 out of his 9 seasons (25/26 not mapped yet). All sit in the top 25 all time seasons performance wise from 1969/70 to 2024/25. (Performance score is a massive formula using a ton of data to map out each and every season to compare them against each other in a meaningful “success score”)
English

@GuillemBalague @BBCSport Indeed, aside for your blatant bias , are you accounting for his #130, how they impacted on other managers, players, fans, sponsors, owners? Cheated out of trophies. Care to discuss?

🔺 Hitting the gym to cope with the physicality of the Premier League
🔺 Why he ‘liked’ Mohamed Salah’s latest controversial social media post
🔺 Why criticism of Arne Slot is just noise ‘on the outside’
🔺 His ambitions with Germany at the World Cup

@lukestanley03 Where’s his #130 charges to list as part of his achievements? Too many to fit in the wall I suppose 😊😂🫣

This is an incredibly impressive haul of trophies, and I am not discrediting it at all.
Salah and Robertson are both legends of Liverpool and the Premier League, but this picture compared to that of Bernardo/Stones just shows how utterly insane Pep Guardiola’s time at City has been.

Liverpool FC@LFC
Conquered it all.
