There is a huge market open for good and simple TV shows. The popularity of Pakistani Dramas have proven that. I don't understand why Indian makers are missing this opposite. Unless they know they can't compete with the YouTube availability.

Indian politicians, media, and social media handles seem to have found a new weapon-comedians-to divert attention from real issues. At this point, it feels like a targeted attack on comedians. I dislike these comedians but the hate & criticism is very disproportional #comedians

There are hardly 3-4 good comedians in India. The rest seem to lean heavily on crowd work, which honestly feels a bit lazy. People take time out of their busy lives to watch a show, they deserve well-written material. People pay ticket prices just to sit there and get roasted!

5 young Indian Air Force personnel have yet again died in an Aircraft crash. Will this issue garner even 1% attention from the people on social media or every bit of their energy is reserved for lashing out at cheap comedy.

The response to the Pranit More controversy is not at all proportional. Recently a person trolled on social media for littering committed suicide after the trolling. If any of the three people involved did the same, the majority trolling would change the goalposts,

Dear @DelhiPolice, Strict action should be taken against this comedian, Madhur Virli. This is completely unacceptable. We cannot normalize this kind of behavior in society. In the name of comedy, these people are making fun of a victim on a very sensitive topic like rape which is deeply disrespectful. Humor should never be based on someone’s pain or trauma. This kind of behavior needs to be called out, not accepted.
