@E__Umoh Oh please! Everyone is suddenly wiser and could have handled it better, as if the woman knew they would do what they did. It's not a crime to be kind. She was just unlucky, and that could have been anyone. All this talk plus the unrelated Bible analogy is just unnecessary BS.

I just learned about Monique Pearl in her demise. I don’t know if this is part of the reason she died, but there’s a reason the Bible asked us to flee from the devil. And not to be ignorant of the devices of evil. I saw her posts about the precious girl she brought and her stupid family saga. You see village people, they exist and they are very ,very ,very evil… Imagine a father saying he would kill his child and put her (Monique Pearl) in trouble…..Their own child oo Me I don’t subscribe to having any maid or child brought from the village for me… But if I were in her shoes, immediately I sensed the comments, disdain and entitlement from her family, I would have returned that child.. Asap A family that dares to ask for bride price and list for an 11-year-old child… Jehovah nissi… I thought these things only happen in the north, I didn’t know it happens too in Cross-River (precious family is from the Bekwarra tribe) Try your best in life to avoid evil people May her soul rest in peace abeg

@TOmuabor @bolainbloom @lilyally98 Well, thats very sad and insensible for an adult. Can't imagine going through that at childhood and then adulthood. When does she get to do what she wants to do, in her grave??

Stop infantilising yourself for males. You are an adult woman, act like it. Pay your bills, handle your shit. Stop waiting for anyone to save you. It’s ok to be babied by your partner, however, you shouldn’t crumble when he’s not there. STAND UP

Unpopular Opinion: Honorary Doctorates are disrespectful to Academic Doctorates. Doctorate should be earned, not handed out, like lollies.

I've recruited an entire team twice in the past 3 years, and I've also consulted for founders on the continent looking for high quality affordable talent. It's very well known across Africa and beyond that if you're looking for high quality African talent that will work like their life depends on it and won't cost an arm and a leg, you go to Nigeria. Nigeria lacks lots of things, but qualified, talented people who are ready to work their ass off are not among them. I've seen it first hand. Except you're looking for an astronaut, there is literally no vacancy you cannot fill in Nigeria. Anyone who says they "couldn't fill job openings" in Nigeria is a bloody liar. It's simply not true and there's nothing to argue about.

@DavidHundeyin I would definitely believe this theory Cause what do you mean, you have 500 openings and you can't find even a single person from Nigeria? Lol…..what a joke

Time for the North, you are there! Time for the South, you are there! Wike scattered the PDP because of you. We have a weak opposition because of you. You have no sense of equity. No sense of probity. A meddlesome interloper. You will continue to run.

@ChuksEricE This “I’m too big to answer to you” complex is how we landed in this mess in the first place. The president is too big to answer his citizens. The author is too big to answer his customers who literally put food in his mouth.
