I’d argue USC football has undermined themselves by not making a playoff ever. Or winning a conference once since 2008. Good news tho. The playoff window is open now.

I love college football. I’m good with 12 team playoff. I think that’s a really good number. Having a 24 team playoff is gross.

Notre Dame had a home-and-home with Ohio State in the last five years. Notre Dame has a home-and-home with Texas in the next five years. Notre Dame has had and will have several other high-profile home-and-homes. Give the ND complaints a rest already.

Unfortunately, this colossal error probably can't be fixed until 2030 because of commitments in place. Lincoln Riley should be gone by then and hopefully replaced by someone who appreciates one of the most important rivalries in all of sports

Since the announcement USC and Notre Dame would no longer play each, USC donors and luxury suite holders have let the athletic dept. know they are disgusted with the decision (and the A.D.) and it played a role in talks resuming

Every fan and analyst that loves college football absolutely despises the idea of a 24-team playoff and yet we all know they are going to do it anyway. The people that run the sport don’t love it as much as the people that watch it. That much is clear.

Don't let anyone tell you this is actually good. Its for money & more access for power conference teams while the decision makers frame it as "more access for everyone" - that is a lie. Really is a shame they insist on changing the best postseason tournament in American sports

The NCAA is amazing. They get crushed constantly for everything. Then, there's one, easy PR win that falls right into their lap - not expanding the best tournament in sports - and they're like "Yeah, let's do the exact opposite." Insane 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Everybody: “Don’t do this.” NCAA: “What a great idea.”

The only reason (outside of money) to expand the NCAA Tournament is to justify why you included the 14th team in the Big Ten or SEC. No one wants this.
