@CoreOfMidas If they increase how often they "joke" that their now large audience should donate or gift subs I tend to stop watching, especially when its after a raid. Has easy back-pedals like "Oh I'm just joking" or "Well you don't have to", but there's a pattern and I can read the room

Seem like the overwhelming answers are:
1: They change their content to facilitate the new achievement and its not the same person i watched before
2: Their CCV is too large and chat is hard to keep up with, so they never pick out individual comments again and the dynamic of the stream shifts

@CoreOfMidas I don't think it's necessarily an "achievement" thing, but for me I tend to tune out once chat goes too fast for me to be noticed. Not to say I need to be noticed (I also tend to avoid being 1 of a few chatters) but I like that sweet spot of being able to engage with the creator-

@CoreOfMidas I think one downside to vtubers being anonymous is it's much easier for some people to view them as a brand more than a person, so when someone (in their opinion) changes in the same way Cracker Barrel did last year it's hard not to just react the same way, maybe slightly nicer

Whenever I see someone excited for their new debut and it’s clear they spent a long time and a lot of money on it, I brace myself for the people who say they preferred the previous one. I get it; but for the love of GOD don’t say it on their posts or in their chats. It may be your valid opinion, and hell maybe sometimes warranted! But, NO content creator wants their special day ruined by people directly insulting that time effort and money- and care that they’ve personally invested. Trust me, it may feel like a nothing comment to you, “just an opinion” but a creator seeing that will sit with that and it will eat them. They will never get that money and life back, and you are telling them they wasted it. That their tastes are shit. Keep that to your dms with friend, and off their official posts. I experienced this with my own kama debut, and i'm seeing this happen to rin. Fuck y'all so seriously. "omg its just an opinion chill" yeah and yours sucks and causes pain and i get to say fuck you just like you get to say "erm is it too soon to say ew". It doesn't matter if you actually have a leg to stand on and lets say, a creator DID downgrade. Y'all forgot that behaving this way in public would get your lights knocked out you rude bitches.
