Results Declared Out Of 2,207 Seats Where AAP Contested; BJP - 1585 AAP - 366 INC - 256 When AAP formed Govt in Punjab, they didn't have 5% of the seats won by AAP Gujarat. Local Body Elections are usually in favour of the ruling party.

@AsreSalim Thousands of seats were won by BJP without election - uncontested with threats from goons. In minority dominated seats and few areas of North Gujarat, Congress has won. AAP only contested half of the total seats and on those seats, AAP is in the second place and Cong in third.

AAP has swept 4 Taluka Panchayats in Gujarat: Gudeshwar, Bagasara, Chikda and Lalpura Taluka Panchayats. AAP will have its Chairman in these Taluka Panchayats of Gujarat.

AAP has EMERGED as a Dominant Opposition in Rural Gujarat. Most of these Congress seats are in Nagar Palika dominated by minorities. And some regional influence in North Gujarat.
