They destroy their own crystals or whatever, and then can only play DVD. It's insane.

That DVD’s are still the best performing format is not a troll, I assure you.
It’s a practicality thing: cheaper, more players total (laptops, game consoles), bargain bins, tv show availability.
Your average consumer finds the picture quality ‘good enough.’

@wrighthouseprod Yes. Good movie. Aliens are just as supernatural as golden Jewish chests with face-melting ghosts, wooden Christian chalices that give immortality, and sacred Hindu rocks that glow and burn. The one flaw it has is the goofy jungle chase monkeys, but otherwise it's solid Indy.
