flopped lcq, no hate to the ranked team at all but it is literally impossible for play this format when its 4am and we have played 5 seeds, having to wait literally 15 minutes between seeds whilst i already have to start playing at 2am makes it Literally impossible to do well 1/2

@AlphaAffectRL I don’t understand how pros don’t buy the fucking rocket pass for items they want. Shit literally cost like $10, you get all the colours, all the decals you want. They play the game for a living yet won’t spend $ on what they want.

@offlinelotus use is bad, like I'm not a fan of sora using crazy amounts of compute to generate 15 second slop videos. And LLMs can certainly be used in wrong ways, but I think there are also many net positive use cases. And for the record, I have read and wrote many college essays without AI

@offlinelotus multiple hours uses way more electricity than a few chatgpt queries but no one gets mad over that. I see it just as a tool that helps save time the same way something like google saves time by letting you search for specific webpages/resources quickly. To be clear I think some AI

@Dmanf17 @jjoelmizu Yes but it's more symbolic not literal. It's a show of sportsmanship. If you play an IRL sport you still say gg to each other even if you got stomped. It's like how people say "how are you" all the time but don't literally want to know how you're doing it's just a greeting

@RLEsports We do indeed say this before every in person event but I genuinely think this is the strongest batch of NA teams in a while, specifically because Spacestation and SR’s form look much better than it did last split

@lafaiel That I don't disagree with, but the comparison here isn't panther lake vs apple. It's panther lake vs other arm cpus where qualcomm is the only relevant player at least performance wise. Qualcomm is still far behind apple, and even in the chart you show it's worse than lunar lake

Panther Lake barely improved core efficiency over Lunar Lake; it only lasts longer because it forces E-cores for light tasks. That's why it scores well in dumb battery tests like video playback or refreshing pages every 15 seconds. ARM chips like Apple's M-series have superior P-core efficiency, so they use P-cores even on battery, boosting clocks faster and feeling way snappier. Since they're actually more efficient, they still get much better battery life than Panther Lake when doing real, heavy work.

Since Qualcomm's business model doesn't allow it, strong Linux support will remain an x86 advantage for a while.

@goatcyacan @DraftoutMC speedrunning is literally all about the duration lol that's why it's called speedrunning. The whole point is you beat the game as fast as possible. Naturally you would want to play on the fastest version...

@goatcyacan @DraftoutMC 1.16 is the fastest version and the one people play rsg on so it makes the most sense for ranked to be on that. Lockout is 1v1 in a world where the newest version makes more sense since it's the most open. You can see a trial chamber in the trailer so it should be at least 1.21

@DraftoutMC well this shit looks actually decent, unless its also on 1.16 like the dogshit ranked mode is. I could give it a shot if its on 1.21 with no bs optimizations changing the game dynamics

E.g. a while ago I was making some complex matlab plots and using AI meant it took me minutes instead of hours. And I don't think learning the nuances of coding matlab plots is a crucial skill

@sittingphrog @KilyVegista @gcindisguise Not really true. If you just watch his streams its not infrequent that random chatters will say something very edgy and weird and he'll just read it out and not time them out or ban them. Like 15% of the time it's also literally a mod doing it too
