When we regard #racism as a thing of the #past we miss the new forms of expression it takes in the #present. Much like H2O is still intact whether it presents as running water or mist, #racial #bias maintains its core principles of #exclusion and #limitation in any form it takes.

My 3rd key takeaway from the #book The Color of Law. The effects of #racist acts in the past still linger in the present. #Racism affects all of us, not in the same ways or to the same degree, but it touches us all. Thus, it requires all of us to dismantle it. #racepositive
