@lovewins11011 Yes. It’s very painful. Unfortunately it is also a reality. What’s helped me is to remind myself that in this life, Pain is inevitable, but Suffering is optional. In cases like this, becoming willing to let go of toxic people, places, and things is vital and facilitates peace.

As a trauma survivor, I think one of the hardest things is watching the person who brutally destroyed you be blindly supported by friends and family.
