Back in my day (👵🏻) people struggling with SH drawing cuts on themselves to alleviate the urges was largely promoted as a good coping mechanism.
People are getting so mad at OP cause they were “tricked”. Why has the internet become so reactive? Take me back to 2012.

im sobbing, do you people know that these arent cuts but drawings on my had BECAUSE IVE SEEN SOMEONE QUOTE THIS AND SAYING "IM JEALOUS I CANT DO THIS"???😭😭 i didnt think people would take these for real cuts, i cant cut freely on my hand sadly thats why i draw em 💔💔

@bringumybullets You’re absolutely correct, the hate and abuse will never help people who are struggling with these mental health disorders, it needs to stop because hate leads to a slower recovery time, and its really upsetting to see it

@DoctorMontyy Will. They seem to have been getting a bunch of harassment & abuse though, which won’t help at all. I was a mentally ill kid once, so I think they can be cut some slack & it’s fine to disagree/offer other perspectives, while keeping that in mind too

@bringumybullets That is fair, and I agree. But she should definitely realise or have her eyes opened to how she can negatively effect people too, rather than just sugarcoating it ? If that makes sense ? its good that shes recovering and im proud of everyone who is, i didnt mean to offend

@spinster2004 @Marsh_mellowzz @NotDedButAlmost shtwt the only place where someone trying to recover actively encourages people to cut LMFAO, this place is a cesspool and i always somehow end up back here, good on her for trying to recover but it’s insane that shes encouraging, by allowing her coping mechanism to be “cutspo”.
