I loved Diana Taurasi so much that I stayed loyal to UConn for an extra 21 years after she left. I feel like UConn is UConn today because of Diana. And because people like me helped MAKE them that. I'm not seeing that same effect with Caitlin. It's like all the Hawkeyes became Fever and forgot what a Hawkeye is. Does it take time? Or are a lot of y'all not really basketball fans? I guess that's the difference with me. It was easy to stick around in college even though my GOAT was in the WNBA...because I loved basketball. I guess time will tell.

Guys, let’s be real for a second. There is no evidence that this was staged, and it is highly unlikely, as it would require the collaboration of hundreds of people from different agencies to “fake” anything like this. This is not a realistic option. But if you want to propagate that it was staged to troll the right, I am all for it.
