From my understanding, we should be learning more about the concert series happening at Philadelphia’s (free) World Cup Fan Fest at Lemon Hill in the next few days

@evanknowsball The bigger question is which bars will have World Cup events. I’d imagine the Brauhaus will be the sport for any Germany gm. I’m sure black taxi, either Cavs, Fado etc will be soccer friendly in general. But outside of Lemon Hill will there be outside soccer viewing parties?

@medium_gray @evanknowsball There’s a Frankfurt based fan club there. Although there a Bayern contingent that regularly attends it’s a Bundesliga agnostic fan group.

@evanknowsball TBH not certain there as I have watched Bundesliga, Union Games and FIFA matches there. It does appear they have an event listed for the world cup on their website. In the past, they have had screens outdoors.

It’s not about how high level Football ‘should’ be played. It’s how Football ‘can’ be played. It takes 2 teams with attacking abandon, to produce a game like that. Maybe it’s what an emerging generation want the game to be, and hence, how it will evolve. I’m here for it!
