I agree. And ya know what? Gay men aren't so bad at being parents either. Studies show that gay men tend to have better outcomes with their children than straight people. The same goes for lesbians as well. Why is that? Well, there are probably many reasons, but while so many straight people see having a kid as a right, most gay people are very thankful that despite being gay, they to can have the joy, sorrows and responsibilities of being a parent. At least for gay men, our families tend to be very stable and the kids have plenty of financial resources at their disposal. This is not to say that straight people aren't great parents as well. It's just that the fear of gay men, especially, having children is not warranted by the current research.
