An extremely rare medical case from India drew widespread attention when 18-year-old Narendra Kumar was rushed to the hospital suffering from severe weight loss and prolonged health issues. For years, he had been experiencing stomach pain, vomiting, and other symptoms, but doctors had been unable to determine the underlying cause.
Following CT scans, physicians identified a highly unusual condition called Fetus in Fetu, in which one twin becomes enclosed inside the body of the other during the early stages of pr*gnancy. This condition is exceptionally rare, occurring in approximately 1 in 500,000 live births.
Reports indicated that doctors discovered a 2.5 kg mass in Narendra’s abdomen, which contained hair, teeth, and partially developed body structures. The enclosed twin had ceased developing and had been surviving by drawing bl00d supply from the host twin.
Doctors subsequently carried out a complex three-hour surgery to successfully remove the parasitic twin. According to reports, Narendra made a full recovery after the procedure, with his condition improving significantly.

Regular kidney stones hurt… but jackstones? They’re built to torture! 🪨🗡️
This is quite literally the evil cousin of kidney stones.
It’s a rare type of urinary stone that forms with sharp, spiky edges.
This spiky menace formed in someone’s bladder and had to be surgically removed!
Jackstones are a distinctive form of urinary tract calculus, most commonly found in the bladder, characterized by their classic star-shaped, spiculated appearance resembling children’s “jacks.”
They are usually composed of calcium oxalate dihydrate and form in settings of urinary stasis, most often due to bladder outlet obstruction or neurogenic bladder. Clinically, they present with irritative lower-urinary-tract symptoms, recurrent UTIs, terminal hematuria, or suprapubic discomfort. Diagnosis is typically made on CT or X-ray due to their highly characteristic morphology, and management includes endoscopic stone removal plus correction of the underlying cause to prevent recurrence.
Final note, a jackstone is so dramatic and unique, it practically diagnoses itself!
