Starting tomorrow, I'll be doing a 30 day challenge bringing constitutional provision from the SU Compendium, every day. Because i noticed most people defend rights they don't know you have. Before you criticize, ask yourself: Do you even know the law?

DAY 1: KNOW YOUR CONSTITUTION The Student Union Constitution is SUPREME. Section 1(d), SU Compendium: “The constitution shall be supreme… if other laws, rules or regulations are inconsistent… this constitution shall prevail and such laws… shall be null and void.”

DAY 2: KNOW YOUR CONSTITUTION The Student Union exists to SERVE you. Section 2(b), SU Compendium: “To defend and uphold the interest and welfare of members of the Union.” Leadership is not just a title, it is a responsibility.

DAY 3: KNOW YOUR CONSTITUTION Section 6(3)(c), SU compendium: "Congress shall have power to reverse decisions of the Central Executive Council and/or the Senate Council." Students are not powerless, Final authority doesn't rest with leaders, it rests with students.

DAY 4: KNOW YOUR CONSTITUTION Student Union executive are accountable to students. Section 6(3)(d), SU Compendium: "The Central Executive Council shall be collectively and individually responsible to the Congress…"

DAY 5: KNOW YOUR CONSTITUTION Section 25(1)(D), SU Compendium: “All the financial transactions of the SU shall be in accordance with the provisions constitution.” 25(4)(a): “All disbursement of the Union shall be in accordance with the annual budget as approved by the SC.”
