Whilst pristine vineyards blanket the majority of the Dog Point landscape, a key part of our organic philosophy is the biodiversity of the property. A large area of land is devoted to pasture, lawn, natives, walkways and an extensive organic vegetable garden.

Organic philosophies are at the centre of everything we do. As owner & operator of the largest organic @Biogronz certified farm in NZ, we carry out a number of organic initiatives to produce the healthiest possible vines & flavourful wines that are a true expression of the land.

Each winter, we welcome over 2,000 sheep to Dog Point Vineyard where they are rotated around the property under the watchful eye of Nick, our resident farmer.

Today we release our 2015 Library wines to our Library members. Since the start, we have set aside a limited quantity of each vintage for later release. These wines are exclusively available through our wine club. To find out more about our Library membership, visit our website.

It's that time of year again where we welcome over 2,000 enthusiastic sheep to Dog Point. With the grape harvest behind us, the sheep are brought onto the property to control grass and weed growth and assist in adding organic matter to the soil.

Located on the hill slopes of the Southern Valleys sub-region, Dog Point is steeped in history and proudly one of NZ's premium wine producers. Whilst pristine vineyards blanket the majority of the landscape, a large area is also devoted to pasture, landscaped lawns & waterways.

The '25 harvest may be behind us but we loved seeing these photos taken by our own @elisa.cigui of the day we hand-picked our Sauvignon Blanc Section 94. Each year we quietly celebrate when we harvest this single vineyard parcel & this year's impressive crop was no different.
