It is actually nuts, I had some old bedtime stories I made up for my children saved and I would rate it about 80% on how well it creates. My main issues are that it seems to default to 10 double pages while the 14 to 16 page set up would be better imho. It also has a habit of messing with the text even if you tell it not too so poem like stories can get mutilated. Not keen on the default style but going anime helps make them more fun. It would be awesome if there was a central place people could share these to.

Google just launched a killer new product for kids (and their parents!) You can now ask Gemini to "create a storybook" from a prompt - and even add photos and drawings. It generates a beautiful, interactive story, which Gemini can read aloud 🤯
