Hello Dogei Club You’ve all seen what happened to the market cap. We had a stable floor at 200K but dropped back to 50K. It has now been almost seven months since the CTO takeover, and throughout this time, we’ve been consistently building this project. We’ve put in an immense amount of work, more than most projects in this space would ever do. We held weekly Spaces almost every single week, ran competitions and giveaways, and organized different games and fun activities around the project. I personally have dedicated a huge amount of time to this, and it hasn't been easy. As you know, we got scammed multiple times by influencers and so-called "advisors." Even people I thought I could trust, who joined the team, ended up dumping on the chart at the highs. Despite that, we bounced back and invested in advisory services. We paid for the Toobit listing and market-making. Unfortunately, as you all saw, the market maker also took advantage of us. My vision, along with the team’s, has always been to build something unique,something for the future. However, our biggest challenge was the people in this space. Almost everyone who claimed to support us ended up selling their free bags instead of promoting us genuinely. The second biggest issue was the community. Despite grinding for seven months, our community remained weak compared to what we had accomplished. I’ve never seen a community this inactive for a meme project with such solid branding. Whether we did something wrong or not, it was almost impossible to activate and sustain engagement. The past two months have been even harder for both me and the team. We’ve spent over $100K trying to make Dogei successful, while none of us took a single dollar in profit because we believed in taking this to a $100M market cap. Our core team had doxxed wallets and a strict rule not to sell, and if we ever did, it would be done together, scaling out profits slowly. For the past two months, we decided to take a step back,waiting for Ethereum chain liquidity to return, as well as for the China narrative, which Dogei is built around. We even tried launching on Solana, injecting another $10K into liquidity and burning it on the Solana chain. Unfortunately, this brought almost zero value to us. After that, we simply waited. But now, some team members have decided to leave. Some had already sold back in December, which I only recently realized. This, of course, caused some drama, leading to even more team members leaving, and a few wanting to take some money out. I believe the team sold at most $5K in the 150K–200K market cap range, which triggered a ripple effect. Now, it’s just me, Felix, here with two other team members and the community. As you all know, this is a CTO project, and it always has been, even though we ran it in a much more professional way than a typical CTO. If people want to step in and help build this, they are more than welcome. I am not leaving, but I also won’t be able to dedicate as much time to this, especially with my son arriving in March. After losing so much on this project, it’s difficult to continue putting in the same level of effort. That being said, I still love the Dogei narrative, the art, and the brand we built. I truly believe Dogei can still reach extremely high valuations, but for that to happen, we need a strong community and a good market. Time will tell. I’m always here to answer your questions, and I’m incredibly grateful for the community we have and the time I’ve spent with you all. Writing this has been extremely difficult because I’ve poured so much love and effort into this project,more than most can imagine. Dogei Club will always be on-chain, and it will always exist on the internet. The brand and the character are unique. As you know, there are no other Chinese versions of Doge or any major red dog memes in general. Thank you all for everything.
