There's no way SCOTUS could overturn birthright citizenship, spelled out in 14th amendment to the Constitution... right? Sadly, after their Jan, 2024 immunity ruling, and 2022 abortion ruling, NOTHING would surprise me!

Here we go, SCOTUS & Trump lawyers & advocates dissecting & pontificating on birthright citizenship, which is spelled out in 1868 14th amendment to the Const, famously declaring: "Any person born in the US is a citizen, regardless of their parents." Do the right thing SCOTUS!

Trump literally tore up the Iran Nuclear Deal just because Obama was a pivotal player in creating it. Same reason he wants to tear up the Affordable Care Act (tho he hasn't managed to replace it in 10 years), because the Obama administration created it! Eats. Him. Alive!

So, I attended my 1st ("No Kings") protest rally Sat in my local town. It was fun meeting others who share my political views, & I caught the vibe, with signs & speeches & honking & noise. It was good to participate, vs griping from a distance... but did it accomplish anything?

@Kreyboldt Lol, there were alotta old folks... and alotta dogs, so I was in heaven! So, why is it that the majority of rally attendees are old? Young people need to care more and get involved! Can't be apathetic and sit on sidelines, that SURELY accomplishes zilch!

@Kreyboldt The rallies served to unite those who oppose admin’s policies. They also spread to int'l cities, including Rome, Paris, Madrid, showing worldwide disapproval of Trump admin. It all sets mood & tone across country & beyond, & helps tank Trump approval #'s, now at just 33%! 2/2

SCOTUS ruled 8-1 against a Colorado law banning conversion therapy for LGBTQ+ minors, saying the restriction violates 1st Amendmt. So, conversion therapy is now a GO in CO. Only Justice Ketanji Brown dissented, arguing the decision "opens a dangerous can of worms." Oh yeah!

Ohhh, Trump changed reason for Iran war daily so he'd have options when time to duck out & still claim victory! Seems "regime change" is best bet, Hegseth saying that's been accomplished & this regime "should be smarter than prev one," more moderate (experts say more radical)!

Fed judge halted Trump ballroom project today, saying the prez  is a "steward" not "owner" of WH & needs Congressional approval. So, why was he allowed to proceed with his project while its legality was in question? Same with tariffs, allowed to prevail during wait for justice!
