Jude was diagnosed with High Risk Neuroblastoma in July 2021. We are fundraising to get him maintenance therapy should his NHS treatment be successful.

On Sunday Jude took on Theo’s Chatsworth Walk to “make his hospital better”. We signed up 9 days before the challenge and he has received over £800 in sponsorship. Feeling incredibly lucky and proud. Any last minute sponsors would be appreciated.

2/2 Unfortunately that MRI has shown some changes from the ones he had done in March, which showed his head to be clear of cancer, and this has meant he is unsuitable for the treatment. A rollercoaster of a week that will continue as we find out more.

1/2 We have returned from Rome today with much less hope than we went with. This felt like it was Jude’s final chance at survival. On Wednesday when we arrived Jude has an MRI done following blood tests. (It was his first MRI awake!).

2/3 It is pretty incredible science that will take place. This treatment is nowhere near as toxic as chemotherapy but there are lots of variables which means it doesn’t really have a set price on it and so we need to keep the fundraising efforts going.

JUDE UPDATE:
1/3 On Saturday we found out that Jude has been accepted to received the CAR-T Cell treatment in Rome. We will fly out this week for him to have some screening, a scan and his cells collected. These cells will then be engineered before they are given back to Jude!
