A brilliant effort yesterday by everyone and a massive thanks to all who helped and supported. It’s a message the club surely has to listen to now. This isn’t going away. Being the only club to shut down a conversation with its own supporters by locking in general admission price rises for three years is tone deaf, however it’s spun. Three years. No annual say. No accountability. Normalising price rises when there is already widespread concern about the direction of the game is all business and no heart. And that’s the clash. Fans love their clubs and give everything to supporting them. Give something back, instead of seeing what more you can wring out of them.

@10akhil The police in Lisbon have always been OTT. Like storm troopers waiting for someone to step out of line.
We’re doing some work with LFC on our treatment in Europe & mentioned the kettling, etc over there. Absolutely no need to be dressed like that to police a game of footy.

Given the ongoing uncertainty regarding potential disruption to the national roads network, we have taken the decision to postpone all LOI Academy fixtures scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday 11 April 2026.
This decision has been made to provide clubs with early clarity and to ensure that those requiring coach travel have sufficient notice to cancel bookings without incurring unnecessary costs.
We will review the status of Sunday’s fixtures tomorrow afternoon and will communicate a further update to clubs in due course.

Congrats. Success is not a fluke. Yes, the players of course play the most important part, but you have been coaching since your Liffey Valley days. I remember you asked me to edit an image of you there, and that has got to be 13 or 14 years ago now. So you are looking at what has to be close to 15 or 16 years of nonstop coaching to reach a level where you can lead and inspire like that. People see the success now without understanding what getting there took!!!
Teams usually reflect those in charge. It is no surprise that success follows people who refuse to accept anything different, especially those with a real love for what they do. Well deserved and hopefully more to come your way.

What a dive! @HACKETTREF you and I discussed a much tighter call involving Saka - please tell me you believe Palmer should be suspended for this atrocious dive after he missed a tap in. I don’t favor suspensions but this complete act is heinous and should be punished.
