@JasonYanowitz Agree with this but be very careful when crafting these mechanics, incentives are everything and a wrong move here can create more problems than good

The TTF is becoming the standard framework for token transparency. Can’t share details yet but exchanges, regulators, and investors are demanding it. The market will favor protocols who participate.

The Token Transparency Framework from @Blockworks "has allowed a classic signal equilibrium — where the people who have the best information want to share it, because their valuations will go up." @TheiaResearch

TAO Co-Founder on why Worldcoin was never going to work “You can’t get funding from Sam Altman, the guy who’s trying to enslave us, and then pretend to be ‘freedom technology'. The Orb is so dystopian” “People fucking hate crypto people sometimes, but deep down we’re freedom fighters. And that’s why Worldcoin didn’t work, because we’re permeated by people who actually believe in freedom”

@BarrySilbert @KeithSingery Think more liquid funds need exposure not just to TAO but subnets will help with liquidity and growth

@Old_Samster Need to be a bit easier for funds to custody, we need better wallet infra for subnets, think that'll go a long way but again ETH and BTC started the same way

what will be different in this TAO bull run: Besides TAO emissions being halved in Dec 2025, all TAO emissions now flow into subnet liquidity pools rather than straight to miners Subnet owners are highly incentivized to prevent TAO extraction since it directly affects their token price and the subnet teams have gotten exceptionally good at building robust incentive mechanisms to prevent reward gamification at the same time, they've learned how to throttle emissions to only what's necessary to operate their subnet Less sell pressure, better-designed incentives, and cleaner tokenomics create a really nice setup this time

on #bittensor fud: the entire “bear case” analysis is based on the assumption that only 2 subnets (chutes and targon) are generating revenue (or will ever generate revenue). there are 126 other subnets working towards revenue generation and the creation of usable intelligence commodities. the analysis is silly and it’s flawed. you don’t value a startup the same way you value a mature company. thank you for your attention to this matter. #bittensor $TAO $dTAO

When I first got into crypto back in 2017, Tether was one of the biggest FUD narratives. People were convinced a collapse was inevitable and could pose a massive systemic risk to the entire industry. Less than a decade later, Tether has become one of the most profitable private companies in the world and is now preparing for what could be the largest inaugural audit in financial history. Huge respect to @paoloardoino and his team for consistently delivering through years of skepticism and headwinds just to prove all the haters wrong. These are the kinds of stories I’m here for.

@PineAnalytics you get the snapshot bear case on $TAO right but you have the framework wrong Running a trailing revenue multiple on an 18 month old protocol is like valuing AWS in 2007—when it was a literal rounding error in Amazon's "Other" category, long before hitting today's $100B+ run rate Emissions are not a subsidy, they are a bootstrapping mechanism, the same way BTC block rewards were... The "no moat because open source" argument would invalidate every successful open-source business in history.... study @RedHat $30B + exit or @databricks $40B + The real question is not "does it generate revenue today" but can the subnets building real B2B businesses with enterprise traction grow into the valuation before emissions shrink. That answer is not settled yet, but you definitely cannot answer it with a cost-per-token spreadsheet

@here4impact @PineAnalytics Agree here, lack of any proper DD, but do think as the ecosystem builds we need verifiable revenue dashboards etc it’s the rightful path but in due time

@PineAnalytics where are you getting your revenue figures? your assumption here is that the only two subnets generating revenue are targon and chutes. the real indictment is that subnet teams need to publish (and audit) their revenue; not that bittensor is economically untenable.
