Sans confidentialité forte, Bitcoin n'a aucun sens et son utilité par rapport aux monnaies fiat est nulle. Il devient l'équivalent d'une MNBC. Ne laissez pas les vendeurs de rêve vous faire croire que la confidentialité n'est pas importante ou qu'elle est dangereuse.

Did you know that parsing JSON is often limited by your CPU speed - not your IO speed? Parsing JSON (and other textual languages) can be quite CPU intensive. So CPU intensive that your CPU may be the limiting factor in the equation. Modern SSD's can read data faster than many CPUs can process them. E.g. my CPU can parse around 1 GB JSON per second, but my disk can read a good deal more than 1 GB per second. This is a new reality for many developers - that have been used to thinking that the disk was much slower than the memory and CPU, and that it therefore did not matter too much how fast your data-parsing was - as the disk was the limiting factor anyways. But this is not always true anymore.

@chaserobbinss @pasternak Hm, ok. It's not implemented in nostr-tools, yet. It's something to do later. Also, you could use nips.nostr.com/42 to prevent any third-party analysis (to be truly extreme in the approach).

@Dolu_Web @pasternak chiming in from the team - we tried a few relay libraries but didn't find any that were stable, typescript and implemented NIP17. Currently relying on NIP4 + keys tied to browser session so the keys are destroyed on tab close rendering the messages forever undecipherable

New experiment: Shh (shh.com) Instantly start end-to-end encrypted chats from any app. I primarily use it on Slack to communicate in a format that’s private and ephemeral. Let me know what you think!

@pasternak Nice UI, I like it! You should upgrade to nips.nostr.com/17 instead of NIP4 Also, messages are not really deleted; maybe you should consider using a relay that does not save events. Perhaps we should create a 'Ghost relay' type. It's an idea I already had
