@Oldsteele There’s been a few, but to be fair Hed, goal I let in against Buckland was nearly on par with Newquay away 😂😂 why is it never the good ones that we remember

We’re delighted to welcome Cieran to Bovey Tracey. It’s a situation we were made aware of regarding Cierans playing time at Buckland and we wanted to act quickly to secure his services. I know he was very fond of his time with Buckland athletic and thought very highly of by their club and supporters so naturally we are delighted to secure a player of this quality.

Match Report: Bovey Tracey 3–0 Elburton Villa
Pre-season Friendly | White Rock | Very Windy Conditions
Hello to a new season — and Bovey Tracey couldn't have asked for a better start, cruising to a 3–0 win over Elburton Villa in blustery conditions at White Rock.
Bovey came out strong from the first whistle, pressing high and moving the ball confidently despite the swirling wind. The early dominance paid off when Noyce opened the scoring in the first half, finishing well after a slick build-up. Not long after, Fin doubled the lead, reacting quickest in the box to give Bovey full control heading into the break.
With the defence staying compact and focused — helped by constant shouts from Gez to Step Out and stay organised — Elburton’s hopes of a comeback began to Fade Away.
In the second half, Bovey continued to push, and it was Levi who sealed the win, calmly slotting home to make it three. With the wind still causing problems, Bovey’s discipline and structure shone through — securing a deserved clean sheet and showing early signs of a Wonderwall-like foundation at the back.
Hey Now, it’s only pre-season — but It’s Gettin’ Better (Man!!). The sharpness, energy, and intent were clear throughout, and this result will help Keep the Dream Alive as Bovey set their sights on a strong campaign ahead.
A confident Morning Glory of a result — and with performances like this, The Masterplan is already starting to take shape.
Final Score: Bovey Tracey 3–0 Elburton Villa
Goals: Noyce (1st half), Fin (1st half), Levi (2nd half)
Clean Sheet: Solid defensive effort in testing conditions
Venue: White Rock
Conditions: Very windy, but a composed performance
Listen Up — Bovey are back, and they’ve set the tone.

📣 CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT 📣
It’s with regret we share that Tony Radford has decided to stand down as First Team Manager of Bovey Tracey Football Club. It’s been a pleasure to have such a dedicated, passionate and overall great leader at the club for the last 18 months, stepping up when it mattered and guiding us to a second place finish last season.
Tony encapsulated everything that we believe to be important at Bovey Tracey, so we wish to express our gratitude for his time here and wish him all the best for the future.
Neil Last and Matt Hayden will become our interim management team whilst we search for a permanent manager. More details to follow.
