I’ve started using white noise soundtracks whilst I’m studying. Other student have recommended it, so I thought I’d try it. Its so effective & something I’m going to implement fully into my learning system. Its kept me lazy focused & drowns out ambient noise. Winner Winner!

@TPP_MD Oh I had a lovely pt that came in on day of surgery, was very intoxicated after drinking vodka and on anaesthetic assessment said “but they told me I could have clear fluids”…. From that moment on I always said pts could drink only water or black tea/coffee. #lessonslearnt

Friendly reminder from anesthesia, bone broth is not a clear liquid. Your surgery will be cancelled (politically appropriate term “rescheduled”). Aspirating bone broth = badness. That is all. (Any other interesting day of surgery reschedule stories?) #MedTwitter
