It sounds like from Cole that Drake had already moved on from any beef him and Kendrick potentially had OR at the time he didn’t even think they ever had beef. Either way this looks bad for Kendrick. I think the mistake Kai made was not hitting the ball earlier. Looked like the stride before this was the one. Trafford does really well here to rush out and make himself big. The finish is fine - it’s not a bad miss. You just need to take your chances in big games.

At this point, I genuinely believe Cole should have kept quiet publicly and handled it privately. There was no version in which Cole walked away unscathed by speaking out now. That’s honestly the clearest moral stance in a situation that became so messy.
This wasn’t just a rap battle, J Cole- it crossed into territory where people stop separating art from allegations, which makes praising Kendrick feels very…off. Because Drake could have been seriously hurt due to the serious accusations.
