Who remembers our trip to @wembleystadium v @USCremonese this week in 93 for The Anglo-Italian Cup. I got this great pic of Micky Forsyth making a challenge in the box with Richard Goulooz looking on from the @dcfcofficial photographer at the time #dcfc #dcfcfans #Rams #33Years

@janikhh040 @patrickendrick Because it’s internationals the following week - gameweek always finishes on a Sunday before international week
English

@patrickendrick Do you know why there isn’t a game on Monday on Matchday 30?
English

@scottbalaam No other major league does this in Europe - Prem Bundesliga La Liga and Ligue 1 fixtures are all out for the next 4 weeks - they all have teams in Europe
English

@scottbalaam It’s honestly woeful, 6 days notice for the teams who play on the Friday. I genuinely think it’s something to do with TrenItalia and the Freccia prices. €20 ticket becomes €50 ticket with less than a weeks notice.. it would explain the sponsorship

It’s always a frustrating time at this time of year waiting for the #SerieA kick off times and dates.
The next set of dates should be out tomorrow or Saturday.

The next Serie A fixtures are out soon 🇮🇹⚽ But when will the remaining kick-off times be confirmed? Lega Serie A published a structured timeline back in the summer. If you’re planning an Italy trip, read this first tibsnews.co.uk/calcio-amore/s… #SerieA #ItalianFootball #Calcio

@OBarlow98 That’s at Cosenza, I’m at Reggiana where we also won 0-3

@PhilMugford About 600 miles north of Cosenza, it’s Stadio Mirabello, old home of AC Reggiana
English

@dazw71 @PhilMugford Mapei own Sassuolo, who are from 20 miles away, a tiny club, and charge Reggiana high rent. It’s a grim situation
English

@DomT77 @PhilMugford I’ve seen worse, but i’d hate to ground share so fully understand their frustration

@su4eranio They knocked them down when they left the stadium 30 years ago

@AndyC_88 @PierTwentySix @adamsummerton Corporate? Never done it in Italy. I guess it’s profitable at Milan Inter Juve and Roma? Not really particularly big business anywhere else
English

@AndyC_88 @PierTwentySix @adamsummerton Ticket increases are almost impossible because of ultra. My team (Bologna) Curva €25-€30 match day or €300-€350 season ticket… along the side good seats €60-€80 match day, or €600-€700 season ticket. That’s about average for Serie A
English

Italian football stands no chance of closing the financial gap on the PL until the biggest clubs all have their own, modern stadiums.
It has held the league back for decades.
Of the league’s current top 8, six clubs are playing in publicly owned stadiums in need of modernisation - Inter, Milan, Napoli, Roma, Como, Lazio.
Despite this, Italian clubs have only been outperformed in the UEFA rankings by PL clubs in the last five seasons. Imagine what they could do with the extra revenue streams new, modern stadia would eventually bring

🏟️ It’s now official: the City of Naples has approved new works at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. The goal is to make the stadium safer, more modern, and get it ready for EURO 2032. 👉

@AndyC_88 @PierTwentySix @adamsummerton New seats and a posh new roof will barely change this. The regional economics in Italy are a way more deciding factor than the view of the pitch
English

@AndyC_88 @PierTwentySix @adamsummerton Match day revenue is practically maxed out at big clubs in Italy, apart from possibly Roma. This is the point I’m making. Milan and Inter averaging 70k fans includes 15k curva seats (€350 season tickets) and 15k €20 3rd tier seats.. leaves 40k seats that actually make a profit
