Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

@DrDiamondfire @Drexler771 @fuckyouiquit @elonmusk I think increasing the money supply is probably the best strategy. Overtaxation and over regulation could create bad incentives for offshoring. We’re in a heated AI race with every country. The end result (if we don’t die) I think we get, is an abundance of goods and services.

I am all for this, but the money comes from taking it from the rich

The whole system is about to change, and it must, as billions of humanoid robots will be working in every sector of our economy. The likely result of this (if we live lol) is abundance.

Ahh yes. The ability to print unlimited money has never historically been bad. Basing the entire value of your currency on the productivity of ai machines. Brilliant idea. Any single large disruption in production would create instant hyperinflation and crash the economy. MMT is garbage economics. Don’t fall for that shit. That’s why you need to tax the producers. To actually pay for it.

I’m not saying the transition won’t be economically painful at first, but stimulus checks are likely the best trade-off.

@fuckyouiquit @elonmusk The federal reserve can print money if Congress passes certain budgets, lol. Think of COVID, and how the “CARES act” increased unemployment benefits. AI and robotics will lead to something similar policy wise, just on a larger scale.

AI & robotics will increase productivity at an unfathomable rate, meaning the cost of goods & services will plummet. We just need time to mass produce robots and implement them in society.
