Messi is the GOAT.
But do I feel sorry for him? Am I sad for him? No.
Individually and club and country wise he has achieved everything possible in the game.
We can only dream of achieving what he has done on the field.
But, you can only win so much and there has to be an end.

Lionel Messi in tears is such a sad sight. Contemplating the defeat? Contemplating the end of his international career? He's brought such joy to the world of football. Too many of his team-mates were poor, too set on spoiling, but that cannot mask what Messi has done this World Cup. And previous tournaments. Legend.

Serious question for Tigers fans who believe all Benji needs is time. How long does he get before we can seriously judge his coaching ability?

@me_dc @LachlanJeffery Latu Fainu has done that tackle b4. I recall once it ended with him going off for HIA. its a tackling technique issue that the coaching staff hasnt been able to rectify.

@LachlanJeffery As long as it’s “consistent”, which coming up to the finals, you know it’s likely not to be.
I feel it was more awkward (tackle+landing - like Ennis did) however I won’t argue when it comes to player safety.

@midcoast1 If the club were a business they would all be on performance management plan. They are a disgrace. The entire club. Players coachs etc. its the most inept organisation i have ever seen.

@Domc73 Did have the players he wanted. One spoilt brat decided to go and a year later the marque player who said he was here for the long haul decided to take the big money and go. Add to that the massive injury outs and that is why they are where they are. Not Benji's fault.

This season should be the last we see the following players in first grade, for any team: Starford To’a (good luck Manly), Alex Seyfarth, Jeral Skelton, Fonua Pole (his fall from grace needs to be studied). They should just book their flights to Bali tomorrow. #NRLBulldogsTigers

@smeagols_twin @TigersFaithful You cant be imprisoned by a coach due to connections with players. Luai said Benji was his fav player and reason he came to tigers yet 18months into 5 year contract he leaves. New coach can fix problems.

@Domc73 @TigersFaithful Sure, but we've gone down this road before. New coach doesn't fix the problems and in this case a big part of the reason we've improved the roster is due to Benji. Good luck keeping Samuela and Latu if he gets sacked

@NBWT__ The club needs independent investigation into their football dept. Someone that seen how a high performance professional set up should look like and take into consideration their findings. I believe everyone at that club covers each others arse’s to cover for their incompetence

Any player who wants a decent career will need to leave this shithole club.
We can't develop younger players & anyone we sign takes about 6 months before we drag them down to our level.

Blaming Luai is clearly easier for some of you than admitting Benji is handicapping the team himself.
Illegitimate attack/defence coaches, horrible fitness, woeful head of performance, no set game plays, abysmal line ups, more focused on taking in strays than winning games.

@bosco08 @The_8thWonder_ Tigers need to stop making preseason videos where they make heroic promises of semis, standards etc. to much talking not enough walking. You never see panthers, storm, roosters do it. They let their playing do the talking. It’s emanating
