@VicradioZone @flightradar24 Looks like regular maintenance, squawk 2100 is commonly used for maintenance/testing. Wish we had some more receivers around there.

@VicradioZone If 000001 on the left is the aircraft icao address it's likely transmitting the wrong address and some database has it listed as a drone

Interesting. Two hits on 'KNGT31' callsign today. KNGT=KNIGHT was a c/s used by Helicopter Assets out of the School of Army Aviation. The location was Highland Plains in #Queensland. Difference with the hits today was it was listed as a DRONE under type. @Dominic2364 #ozadsb

USMC c/s SUMO86 (KC-130J) with 'HN21' and 'HN31' out of RAAF Darwin tracking North. Curious of the 'HN' proword abbreviation if anyone can assist? Anyone have HEX ICAO: AE60D3 in their logs, that was one of the 'HN' call-signs. #ozadsb #AvGeek #OSINT

@thebaldgeek Okay this is interesting. They just came up on 13261kHz USB working Brisbane Centre. It appears the 3 x F35's are with the flight of 2 x KC-30A's that are tracking to Queensland, not the single KC-30A tracking to NSW.

Well looks who's joined the party. ASY593 (A39-003), ASY594 (A39-001) & ASY595 (A39-005) bringing home some more 5th Gen goodies. Separation may be due to end destinations, that being ASY594 may end up at Williamtown, NSW (at a guess). #ozadsb #OSINT

Anyone got any ideas.... #MDFTX/ID55146A,LAVA70,LEN17TD01315/MR1,/FXPOSITIVE LAUNCH APPROVED.2D1C Then this: [FREETEXT] CONFIRM MARSA WITH ASY1145...ASY1146...LAVA70 The first from a C-17 #AE1450, then the second was from an A332 #7CF9C9

Just had a 'WTF?' moment! That ain't right. According to my records that HEX belongs to A27-02 an RAAF Hawk127, not a C-130J. #ozadsb @adsbexchange

@thebaldgeek My guess is it's a photoshoot of USAF/RAAF C17s over the Philippines. RAAF C17 ASY1145 flying over Palawan Island with USAF C17 LAVA70 and RAAF C17 ASY1146 behind it, supported by KC-30 ASY602. LAVA70 continued to WBSB and the RAAF C17s returned to RAAF Scherger.

@VicSIGINT 00001 is a common ICAO for incorrectly configured transmitters, and one ADF heli used it recently which might explain the A49-008 (maybe a typo of A40-008). I'd guess its a random GA plane or that ADF heli.

What the hell is this about? Someone messing with us? Serial A49-008 (?), Type NH90 which are usually A40-###, then Route e/UAV (?). Can anyone enlighten me? At a minimum 5 different stations have picked it up. ICAO can't be right also.

@vcdgf555 RAAF THUM/THUM02 also returned back to Amberley, likely just a regular training flight

In short, I don't know who suggested it or how it ended up on the list, but I am aware it has caused a considerable headache for Austrians who are watching the events in Afghanistan, particularly to @bundsheerbauer who has had to answer worried tweets. For that I apologize. 4/4

I wanted to address something about the #KabulAirlift list that @defencegeek and I as well as others have been working on. My area of focus has been mostly a saturation of US, Canadian & UK callsigns on August 13th. That list now is at 94, likely with omissions. 1/4

And now AMSA Nemo Flight RESCUE 550 is heading back out again after returning to Perth earlier. Something definitely going on IMO. The fact the RAAF P8 earlier used a RESCUE prefix also , never see them do that unless a real world tasking.
SA-Scan@sa_scan

@scanSydney Looks like they are operating nearly 1000kms west of Perth. No ships showing up on the #marinetraffic website in that location - interesting @VicradioZone

#USAF Boeing WC-135W 61-2667 AE0941 as LINDA45 departing from RAAF Amberley, flying over #Brisbane at FL210. The WC-135 Constant Phoenix is a special purpose aircraft used to collect samples from the atmosphere for purpose of detecting nuclear explosions. #avgeek #planespotting
