A US mayor is charged with being an agent for China. She is far from the only one. 🎧 #GlobalNewsPod bbc.in/4dJ3uSA

Pete Hoekstra on the alcohol ban: "It's a clear indicator of how 11 provinces feel about trade with the US. They're sending a very, very clear message about how doing business with the US doesn't appeal to them. The PM has reinforced that message and so it creates some questions about does Canada really want to do business with the US?"

Germany just sent a cross-party parliamentary delegation to visit Taiwan and meet President Lai Ching-te. One lawmaker called Taiwan "an important partner of Germany." China's response: stop sending wrong messages, or else. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning addressed the visit at a press briefing on May 25, using the standard language Beijing deploys when a democratic country dares to engage with Taiwan: "We urge certain people from Germany to abide by the one-China principle and stop sending wrong messages to Taiwan independence separatist forces." This is worth pausing on. A group of German lawmakers visited a democratic country of 23 million people, met its elected president, and described it as a partner. China's government issued a formal diplomatic warning in response, telling elected legislators of a sovereign European nation to change their behavior. Germany is not a small country Beijing can easily pressure. It is Europe's largest economy, a NATO member, and one of China's most important trading partners in Europe. Chinese exports to Germany hit $112 billion in 2025. The economic relationship gives Beijing leverage. It is using that leverage to tell German parliamentarians which democracies they are permitted to visit. Every democratic government that visits Taiwan, describes it as a partner, or simply treats it as the self-governing democracy it is, receives this warning. Beijing is betting that enough warnings will eventually produce compliance. #Taiwan #Germany #CCP #China #Diplomacy #Geopolitics #OneChina #Democracy #IndoPacific #TaiwanStrong globaltimes.cn/page/202605/13…

US pauses $14bn weapons sale to Taiwan due to Iran war bbc.in/4wDXTFz

What happened to election rules that you must live in the riding you were elected in? This must become law, an MP must not live in a foreign country. May 25, 2019 Michelle Rempel married an American from Oklahoma. For 7 yrs she's been living in the US. hilltimes.com/2019/05/29/mic…

Liberal MP @SalmaZahid15 poses with an IRGC enthusiast wearing a Supreme Leader series fan shirt. The IRGC is a listed terrorist entity in Canada, despite Liberals slow walking the decision. They’ve built an empire of terror proxies, subjugate Iranian women to brutal repression, partner with organized crime in Canada, and intimidate our communities and our leaders. It’s one thing to maybe not notice the t-shirt. But why is this IRGC fanboy so enthusiastic about MP Zahid? 🤔👇

55 year old serial criminal activist Juliet Lamont claims five Israeli men were "bashing her and smashing her face" and claims she was "sexually assaulted" by Israeli forces. Who wants to tell her?

“This IS the last time I will come to Ontario…unless it’s for something else. I’m saying it, you’re thinking it” - Pat King 😬

Let's look at Canada. We have current and former MPs, Senators, Premiers, and others at all levels often openly working for Chinese interests. When a cabinet minister a former premier tried lobbied me in support of Chinese business interests. Told CSIS. They didn't care.
