Had a case of ruptured ectopic pregnancy from admission to the ex- lap we did they said they didn't have money the money available was used to open card/folder.
Rest billed to the folder, social welfare had to be involved.

We really don’t grasp how poor people are in this country. A woman with antepartum eclampsia just had an emergency CS. Her baby needs SCBU admission, she needs ICU. The husband said he has only ₦9,000. This is the reality many face. 💔

The day I stopped doing speed locum was when a colleague told me a story of his friend who went to do 9-6am locum in a facility and armed robbers raided the hospital by 1am, stole his laptop, phones and every other gadget he owned alongside everybody’s devices
