Realising that "you can't fix stupid" and that "No amount of evidence will ever persuade an idiot" (Mark Twain) frees up a lot of time to do and experience more enjoyable and interesting things, such as, in my case, capturing the magical beauty of nature. And I enjoyed it !

@cinzett @Epictets1 @cremieuxrecueil And you understand nothing about scientific research and the substantiation of evidence, and you hope to fool people with logical fallacies. You are joining the pile with the other anti-vax parrots on mute. Bye bye. Go ahead and keep trying to fool the gullible.

@cinzett @Epictets1 @cremieuxrecueil Logic doesn't work on YOU ! You even do not understand how scientific evidence is presented. But you’re absolutely convinced you’re right. You are a textbook example of the Dunning-Kruger effect ...

@cinzett @Epictets1 @cremieuxrecueil 1/2 ’ve gone into more detail about this in response to another tweet. BTW : asking for a simplistic yes/no answer is a sign of weakness and binary thinking. In science, context and nuance are of the utmost importance. It’s also another anti-vaxxer strategy to omit context ...

@cinzett @Epictets1 @cremieuxrecueil 4/4 ... Bradford Hill criteria for epidemiological research. GO STUDY ! Once again ... that classic anti-vaccine disinformation logic doesn’t work on me. Only people who don’t know any better fall for it.

@cinzett @Epictets1 @cremieuxrecueil 3/n That is the underlying reason for the null hypothesis in scientific research. And a causal link with extremely low incidence (which would require extremely large datasets and is therefore practically impossible to conduct as a trial) can be demonstrated using the ...
