@RememberFives @LNamarcil Yes agree, I love both stories and mythology from both cultures, plus the rewrites can be great as well, much like we do with our modern stories. I just wish the OP knew that Perseus story was Greek and not the Roman rewrite, so that movie was just fine.

It still important to know both stories cuz u can differentiate which is real Greek myth or the Roman rewrite

@LNamarcil @Zexyde_ What you talk about is not the Greek version. That's the Roman poet Ovid who later added it. Perseus slaying Medusa is a Greek story, and she was born a Gorgon, not transformed. But we can have a version that humanizes her like in Percy Jackson, but that's the Roman one.

They don't do camera shakes and a blitz of movement, keeps it clean with action. The warm up before the fight is iconic. Camera has to slow down due to speed.
