It just is sad. Remove the independence parties and I have no doubt both Scotland/Wales would begin to mirror England politically. I mean Reform are forecast to become the opposition in Wales, and the Scottish Indy movement itself has a large conservative base.

It’s probably right that devolution made this inevitable. Scottish and Welsh elections will now forever be used as Westminster protest votes, until of course this country as we know it no longer exists.
